What Is Relaxin Jailbreak?

Relaxin is a jailbreak utility designed for selected iPhones and iPads running supported iOS and iPadOS versions.

It uses a RootHide-style environment that aims to provide jailbreak functionality while limiting the traces visible to selected applications.

The jailbreak is semi-untethered. After restarting the iPhone, users must open Relaxin and activate the jailbreak again.

Relaxin provides support for package management and compatible jailbreak tweaks.

The project includes Sileo and related tools for managing packages, app modifications and jailbreak settings.

Relaxin also offers controls intended to hide jailbreak-related changes from selected applications.

However, jailbreak hiding does not guarantee that banking, streaming or security-sensitive applications will work normally.

The supported firmware depends on the processor rather than the iOS version alone.

For example, A12 and A13 devices have a wider advertised firmware range than A14 through A17 devices.

Recent releases added experimental support for selected Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro devices.

Relaxin can be installed through compatible signing methods or TrollStore on eligible firmware.

It is not a Safari-only online jailbreak and does not support every modern iPhone or iOS release.

Because Relaxin is a public beta that modifies device security behavior, users should back up their data and verify compatibility before attempting installation.

Its published download repository does not provide enough information to independently audit the complete jailbreak implementation.

Sileo and Jailbreak Tweaks

Install compatible packages through Sileo and explore RootHide-specific tweak support. Some standard tweaks may need conversion or may not work.

RootHide and App Controls

Manage jailbreak-related settings and selected app exclusions. These controls may reduce certain detection signals but cannot promise complete jailbreak invisibility.

How to Download and Install Relaxin Jailbreak on iPhone

Relaxin is available as an IPA for compatible signing tools and as a TIPA for supported TrollStore installations.

Before downloading, check your iPhone model, processor and exact iOS version.

Before installing Relaxin

  1. Open Settings → General → About.
  2. Check your iPhone or iPad model.
  3. Confirm the installed iOS or iPadOS version.
  4. Compare your device with the current Relaxin compatibility information.
  5. Back up important photos, messages and app data.
  6. Keep your battery above 50%.
  7. Make sure you have sufficient free storage.
  8. Avoid installing another jailbreak on top of an existing jailbreak without following the relevant removal instructions.

How to download Relaxin IPA

  1. Visit the Relaxin release archive.
  2. Open the latest published release, v0.5.7.
  3. Read its release notes and compatibility limitations.
  4. Choose the standard .ipa package for a compatible certificate-signing method.
  5. Choose the .tipa package only if your device and TrollStore setup support it.
  6. Save the file.
  7. Verify its checksum against the published release information.
  8. Check that your installer supports the selected package.
  9. Install the application using the supported method.

How to install Relaxin with TrollStore

On eligible firmware, the project recommends using TrollStore for the special TIPA package.

  1. Confirm TrollStore compatibility with your exact firmware.
  2. Open the Relaxin v0.5.7 release.
  3. Download its .tipa asset.
  4. Import the package into TrollStore.
  5. Review the installation details and permissions.
  6. Install the application.
  7. Open Relaxin and check that it identifies your device correctly.

How to install the standard Relaxin IPA

The project also documents compatible certificate-based signing.

Download the standard IPA and install it through a signing method that supports the application's required permissions.

A successful IPA installation does not guarantee that the jailbreak exploit will work on the device.

How to activate Relaxin

The project's published workflow describes the following:

  1. Open the installed Relaxin application.
  2. Read the displayed firmware and device information.
  3. Review its jailbreak settings.
  4. Start the jailbreak process using the application's documented control.
  5. Allow the application to complete its checks.
  6. Follow any password or setup instructions provided by the application.
  7. Allow the device to restart if required.
  8. Check that the jailbreak environment and package manager are available.

The website describes a brief black-screen transition during the jailbreak process.

If the device becomes unresponsive or repeatedly restarts, stop retrying and consult the project's recovery instructions.

How to install Sileo

According to the Relaxin guide, Sileo may appear after a successful jailbreak.

Open Sileo, refresh available sources and review compatible packages.

Install only packages designed for your exact environment.

How to re-jailbreak after restarting

Because Relaxin is semi-untethered, a normal device restart disables the active jailbreak environment.

Open Relaxin again and run its documented activation process.

Previously installed packages may remain stored, but their functionality generally depends on the jailbreak being active.

Important safety advice

Relaxin modifies sensitive security components of iOS.

The published beta release may cause instability, interrupted app launches or data loss.

Do not proceed if your device or firmware is unlisted, and avoid entering personal Apple Account credentials into unfamiliar jailbreak websites.
