1. Install IPA Apps Without Jailbreak

iPASide lets you install compatible IPA files on your iPhone or iPad using a Windows computer. Select an IPA file, sign it using your Apple ID, and install the app without changing your device's system.

2.Install More Apps With LiveContainer

iPASide supports LiveContainer, which lets you run additional compatible IPA apps inside one container. This helps you manage more apps without using a separate sideloading slot for each one.

3. Keep Installed IPA Apps Working

Apps signed with a regular Apple Account normally expire after seven days. iPASide can refresh these apps before they expire. You can also check the remaining days and refresh apps manually.

How to Install IPA Files Using iPASide on Window

You can use iPASide to install compatible IPA applications on an iPhone or iPad without jailbreaking. You need a Windows computer, a USB cable, your Apple ID, and the IPA file you want to install.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the latest iPASide Windows installer.
  2. Install and open iPASide on your computer.
  3. Make sure Apple Devices or iTunes is installed on Windows.
  4. Sign in to iPASide using your Apple ID.
  5. Enter the Apple verification code if requested.
  6. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer using a USB cable.
  7. Unlock your device and tap Trust This Computer.
  8. Open the Sideload section in iPASide.
  9. Select or drag your IPA file into the application.
  10. Click Sideload to iPhone and follow the installation progress.

After installation, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management on your iPhone and trust the developer profile if required.

You may also need to enable Developer Mode under Settings → Privacy & Security on supported iOS versions.

Once completed, the IPA app should appear on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen.

iPASide Compatibility – Supported iOS Versions and Devices

iPASide is designed for iPhone and iPad devices connected to Windows computers. However, successful installation depends on the iOS version, app compatibility, and Apple signing requirements.

The developer has tested IPA installation on an iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 16.7.15. Pairing and selected installation features have also been tested on an iPhone 17 running iOS 26.5.1.

iPASide requirements:

  1. Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
  2. An iPhone or iPad that supports the IPA application.
  3. Apple Devices or iTunes for connecting the device.
  4. An Apple ID for app signing.
  5. A USB cable for initial connection.
  6. An internet connection for Apple Account verification.

iPASide can also communicate with paired devices through Wi-Fi, but complete Wi-Fi installation support has not been tested across all devices.

iPASide Features – SideStore, LiveContainer and IPA Management

iPASide includes several useful features beyond normal IPA installation.

SideStore Support

iPASide can help prepare SideStore by creating and placing the required pairing file. With a supported setup, SideStore can refresh installed apps directly from your iPhone without reconnecting to your Windows computer each time.

LiveContainer Installation

iPASide can install LiveContainer and help you add compatible IPA applications. Apps inside LiveContainer do not each use a separate sideloading slot, although compatibility can vary.

Automatic IPA Refresh

You can enable automatic app refreshing to renew installed applications before their seven-day signing period ends. iPASide can perform this through a Windows background task when the required connection is available.

IPA Signing and Tweak Injection

iPASide supports signing IPA files and adding compatible .deb or .dylib tweak files. Some tweaks may not work with every app, so compatibility should be checked before installation.

Dopamine Jailbreak App Installation

On supported devices,

iPASide can check compatibility and install the Dopamine jailbreak application. Installing Dopamine does not automatically jailbreak your iPhone.

Installed App Management

The Library section allows you to view installed IPA apps, check their expiration dates, refresh signatures, and remove applications.

iPASide Common Issues and Fixes

1. iPASide Apple ID Sign-In Error -80045

Some users receive the message "This action cannot be completed at this time" when trying to sign in with their Apple ID.

Fix: Update iPASide to v1.2.8 or later. This version includes changes that fix the Apple ID login issue. Check your internet connection and try signing in again.

2. iPASide HTTP 503 Error

This error can appear when Apple's sign-in service does not respond correctly.

Fix: Use the latest iPASide version, restart the application, and try again. If the problem continues, it may be a temporary Apple service issue.

3. iPhone or iPad Not Detected

iPASide may not recognize your device after connecting it to your Windows computer.

Fix: Unlock your iPhone, reconnect the USB cable, and tap Trust This Computer. Make sure Apple Devices or iTunes is installed on Windows. Try another cable or USB port if necessary.

4. IPA App Not Opening After Installation

Sometimes an IPA installs successfully but does not open on the iPhone.

Fix: Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and trust the required developer profile. Check Developer Mode under Privacy & Security. Also make sure the IPA supports your iOS version.

5. Installed IPA App Expired After Seven Days

Apps signed with a regular Apple Account normally need to be refreshed every seven days.

Fix: Open iPASide, go to Library, and select Refresh. You can also enable automatic app refreshing in iPASide settings.

6. Three-App Installation Limit Reached

Apple normally allows only three sideloaded apps at the same time when using personal-account signing.

Fix: Remove an unused sideloaded app or use LiveContainer for additional compatible applications. LiveContainer does not guarantee that every IPA will work.

7. Windows Protected Your PC Warning

Windows SmartScreen may show a warning when starting the iPASide installer because it is not code-signed.

Fix: Check the installer file and compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published release checksum. Only run the installer if you can verify and trust it.

8. Apple Verification Code Not Working

iPASide may ask for a verification code after you sign in with your Apple ID.

Fix: Enter the latest code displayed on your trusted Apple device. Make sure your internet connection works and that you are using the latest iPASide version.

9. iPASide Closes During Apple ID Login

Some Windows security settings may stop the process used by iPASide during sign-in.

Fix: Update the app, restart Windows, and check the error details. If the problem continues, use iPASide's diagnostic logs to report the issue. Avoid disabling Windows security protections without understanding the risks.

The latest release notes confirm the Apple ID login fix, but the developer has not yet confirmed a complete post-fix IPA installation test.
