Odysseyra1n is a jailbreak setup designed for older iPhone and iPad devices using the checkra1n jailbreak method.

It works with compatible devices running iOS 12 through iOS 14.8.1, depending on the processor and firmware.

Odysseyra1n uses checkra1n to complete the initial jailbreak and then installs the Procursus bootstrap with the Sileo package manager.

Odysseyra1n installs the Procursus bootstrap, providing tools and packages for supported iOS jailbreak environments. This is one of its main differences from a standard checkra1n setup.

Install Odysseyra1n using a supported Mac or Linux computer. Windows users can follow the Odysseyn1x bootable USB method to access checkra1n and Odysseyra1n tools.


How to Download and Install Odysseyra1n Jailbreak

Odysseyra1n requires checkra1n and a compatible computer. It is not an IPA application that can be installed directly using AltStore or Sideloadly.

Before starting, back up your iPhone or iPad and check your iOS version.

How to re-jailbreak after restarting

Odysseyra1n is semi-tethered. After restarting your device, you must connect it to a computer and run checkra1n again.

You normally do not need to reinstall the Odysseyra1n bootstrap after every restart.

Important: If you already installed a different jailbreak, follow its proper removal instructions before switching. Do not combine incompatible jailbreak environments.

On iOS 14, A11 devices such as the iPhone 8 and iPhone X cannot use normal SEP-related features, including passcodes, Face ID or Touch ID, while jailbroken with this method.

Some A8X and A9X iPads require an older checkra1n version or special installation steps.

Unsupported devices:

Odysseyra1n does not support iPhone XS, XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 or newer models.

Unsupported iOS versions:
