Palera1n Online tool

The Palera1n-semi Jailbreak ( virtual ) tool supports all A16 to A8 Devices running iOS 18 to iOS 14. This is the extended version of the Palera1n-semi-tethered jailbreak tool. How to install Sileo from the Palera1n virtual tool?

  • 1. Install the Palera1n virtual tool from the Pangu8 App Manager
  • 2. Check the Device Homescreen and you should have two apps ) the Terminal app and the Palera1n IPSW app
  • 3. Open the Palera1n Terminal app

  • 4. Now open the Palera1n IPSW app and check your Device model. Now copy the IPSW code
  • 5. Paste the IPSW code
  • 6. Jailbreak Process running
  • 7. Download Palera1n - Tap the button

Palera1n semi-tethered Jailbreak Guide

The Palera1n semi-tethered jailbreak has two guides such as macOS and Linux. Follow the guide to jailbreak your iPhone and iPad.


Jailbreak Guide

  • 1. Download the tool from above
  • 2. Open the terminal window
  • 3. Run sudo /bin/sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://static.palera.in/scripts/install.sh)"
  • 4. Enter the administrator password
  • 5. Enter this command - sudo xattr -cr /usr/local/bin/palera1n
  • 6. Enter this command again - sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/palera1n
  • 7. Step 4: Clear All Content and Settings on iOS 16 Jailbroken Device with a Password

    • If your jailbroken iOS 16 device has a password set, follow these steps:

    • Step 1. Disable passcodes on A11 devices.
    • Step 2. Note that passcodes, Face ID/Touch ID, and Apple Pay won't work during this process.
    • Step 3. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Transfer or Reset iPhone."
    • Step 4. Select "Erase All Content and Settings." Remember to back up your iPhone first.
    • Step 5. Connect the Jailbroken Device to Your Computer

      • When connecting the device:

      If using a USB-C to Lightning cable, you might need a USB-C to USB-A adapter and a USB-A to Lightning cable. Some USB-C to Lightning cables may not allow you to enter DFU mode.


    • Step 6. Run the Command in a Terminal Window.

      In a terminal window, enter the command: palera1n -cf.

    • Step 7. Enter your Device to prepare for DFU mode
    • Step 8. When done with the DFU, tap the macOS keyboard's return key
    • Step 9. Enter your devices to DFU mode- follow the onscreen instructions.
    • Step 10. After a few minutes, your device will reboot
    • Step 11. Go back to the terminal window and execute the following command to jailbreak palera1n in rootful mode -f
    • Step 12. The device will be preparing for DFU mode again
    • Step 13. Enter the return KEY again
    • Step 14. Enter your device into DFU mode
    • Step 15. Open the Palera1n app from the Homescreen
    • Step 16. Click the install button
    • Step 17. Click repairing
    • Step 18. Now Sileo package manager is installed on your device



Palera1n Windows Tools

The Palera1n jailbreak is only for macOS or Linux computers and no Windows official version. But Winra1n / OpenRa1n Tools ( Palera1n Windows alternative ) supports running Palera1n GUI on Windows PC.

The palen1x Jailbreak method requires a USB but you can use Winra1n / OpenRa1n tool without a USB.






Palera1n Jailbreak ( palera1n’s C )

This is palera1n re-written in another language, known as C, This can benefit from stability and generally a better experience with jailbreaking with palera1n

Flashing palen1x

  • After flashing the Palera1n into palen1x, you can use the Palera1n jailbreak smoothly on macOS and Linux.
  • USB should have 8GB of storage.
  • Download the Ventoy Windows zip.
  • Extract using the zip program, and open Ventoy2Disk.exe.
  • Now select your USB and click install.
  • After the installation process is done. download the palen1x from here.
  • Drop the iso onto the new Ventoy drive in File Explorer.
  • After installing Ventoy and palen1x - go to booting palen1x.
  • Now go to palen1x jailbreak.

Passcode / TouchID and FaceID for Palera1n jailbreak

The A11 devices - iPhone 8 to iPhone X users cannot use the passcode /FaceID and Touch ID after jailbreaking from the Palera1n jailbreak tool. This is a huge issue for A11 users who cannot secure their devices.

However, some popular jailbreak tweak developers released a solution for this issue. The check4round and Checkl0ck tweaks support to get passcode / Touch ID and FaceID back to the Palera1n jailbroken devices.
